How H2Leak DXH240 Works To Locate Leaks
Automotive and HVAC Systems
- Reclaim refrigerant from lines in the system.
- Pressurize the coil or line with the non-flammable green label 5/95 H2/N2 Mix
- Slowly move the tip of the DXH-240 Hydrogen Leak Detector around all suspected joints.
- Make sure to move no faster than 1 inch per second with the tip no more than 1/4″ away,
- Start with most sensitive setting for the 5/95 H2/N2 mix.
- Once leaking joint is located, consider setting the DXH-240 to a less sensitive mode.
- Pinpoint the exact leak location for repair.
- Repair the leak and re-test.
- Keep in mind you could have multiple leaks and continue to test each joint or suspected leak area
